With our exciting growth trajectory, we are seeking an experienced Manager to manage our Eaglehawk Neck site, based in Southern Tasmania.

Job Description

Cameron of Tasmania, part of the Yumbah Oyster portfolio, is a dynamic, vertically integrated oyster company supplying world class oyster products across Australia.

We are currently seeking a full time Assistant Farm Manager for our Eaglehawk Neck site, based just 35 minutes from Sorell.

Duties include:

  • Performing oyster care and husbandry.
  • Work to continuously improve operations with respect to quality, safety, and inventory.
  • General maintenance scheduling.
  • Assisting to manage staff and stock regimes to meet company targets and outcomes.

 

The successful applicant will need the following skills:

  • Excellent leadership skills to manage, motivate and train a small team.
  • Ability to work independently and be responsible for the supervision of others.
  • A coxswains and forklift will be well regarded, but not necessary.
