We’re currently looking for a capable and motivated Assistant Farm Manager to join our team at Eaglehawk Neck, just 35 minutes from Sorell. This is a hands-on leadership role, suited to someone who enjoys working outdoors, leading small teams and making things happen.
About the Role
Working closely with the Farm Manager, you’ll help lead day-to-day operations across our oyster farm supporting safe, efficient and high-quality outcomes.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading and supporting a small team in oyster husbandry and farm activities to meet company targets and outcomes.
- Performing oyster care and husbandry.
- Assisting with stock management, farm planning and scheduling.
- Contributing to farm maintenance, safety and continuous improvement.
- Promoting a strong team culture focused on care, quality and results.

- Hold a current driver’s licence and have reliable transport.
Previous aquaculture experience is not essential. Some of our best people have come from backgrounds like construction, logistics, hospitality or administration. If you’re curious, capable and ready for something new, we’d love to hear from you.
Forklift and/or Coxswain tickets are valued but not required.
