We are currently seeking an experienced and high performing IT Support Officer to join our Corporate Team, based at our Kent Town head office in Adelaide.
Job Description
The role is multi-faceted, with exposure to all key aspects of IT operations, including service delivery coordination, cybersecurity, systems administration, asset management and user support.
About the Role
This is a hands-on and diverse position that extends beyond traditional IT support. Working as part of a small and agile internal team, this role is vital to delivering secure, reliable and efficient IT services across the organisation, while ensuring alignment with business objectives and a focus on continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee outsourced Tier 1 and 2 Helpdesk support and provide responsive, practical support to internal users.
- Maintain accurate records of IT assets, software licences and subscriptions.
- Monitor and manage cybersecurity controls, enforcing policy compliance and supporting risk management processes.
- Support the delivery of system upgrades, new system implementations and integration projects.
- Manage procurement of IT hardware, software and services, including vendor relationships and contract performance.
- Contribute to reporting and analytics using tools such as SQL, Power BI, Excel, and Azure data platforms.
- Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities to enhance efficiency and service delivery.
- Document IT procedures and promote knowledge sharing and training across the business.
Skills, Experience & Attributes
The ideal candidate will bring a strong technical foundation, commercial acumen and the ability to deliver highly efficient, optimised information solutions across the business. In particular, you will demonstrate:

- Proven experience in IT support and helpdesk coordination within a medium to large organisation.
- Solid understanding of Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Azure services and Cloud based IT infrastructure.
- Working knowledge of cybersecurity principles, standards and best practices.
- Experience managing IT assets, procurement processes and software licensing.
- Proficiency in data tools such as SQL, Power BI, Excel and Azure data warehouse platforms.
- Strong communication, organisational and documentation skills.
- Ability to develop standard operating procedures and support effective user training.
- Desirable: exposure to ERP systems, scripting languages (e.g. Python) and formal project management methodologies (e.g. PRINCE2, PMP).
