Yumbah is proud to have been awarded three gold medals for our Tiger Abalone, Australian Blue Mussels, and Pacific Oysters at the 2022 Royal Tasmanian Fine Food Awards, a prestigious and respected event established in 1995.

The President’s Medal recognises producers’ overall financial, social and environmental integrity through the entire production cycle from gate to plate. Only six finalists are recognised on the annual awards night across a broad range of produce categories.

Held every two years Seafood Directions provides an opportunity for stakeholders of the seafood industry come together to showcase the hunters, the farmers, the true supply chain and champion the best of the seafood industry. SD aims to provide a national stage for a unified community that values and celebrates Australian seafood.

The Awards showcase the best of the Victorian seafood industry, its value to the State economy, its professionalism and its commitment to supplying some of the finest seafood in the world to local, national and international markets.

Yumbah congratulates and acknowledges the Cameron Family being awarded Industry Ambassador status at the 2021 Tasmanian Seafood Industry Awards. The Ambassador status is recognition of an enduring industry contribution across three generations.

The Sustainable Seafood Awards, held by the Aquaculture Stewardship Council (ASC) in partnership with the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC), showcase achievements in responsible seafood farming and sustainable fishing practices across Australia. Yumbah are proud to have received the 2023 ASC Above and Beyond Award, celebrate the work that Yumbah and our team have undertaken in relation to Indigenous engagement and measures to reduce energy use.
