Yumbah Aquaculture is the 2024 recipient of the Aquaculture Stewardship Council (ASC) Best Responsible Seafood Producer Award, recognising the company’s ongoing commitment to sustainable aquaculture farming and investment in renewable energy. Yumbah was also highly commended in the Above and Beyond Award category for progress on its Indigenous Engagement Strategy and Chain of Custody Audit.
Yumbah Aquaculture continues to mark its commitment to sustainability as the national winner of the Above and Beyond Award at the 2023 Sustainable Seafood Awards Australia. Yumbah were also named the Best Responsible Seafood Producer at the 2022 Awards.
Held by the Aquaculture Stewardship Council (ASC) and the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC), the prestigious annual awards recognise organisations and individuals who make significant contributions towards responsible aquaculture and sustainable fishing practices.
