A LOCAL abalone producer has won a prestigious Governor of Victoria Export Award “for outstanding international success.”
Yumbah Aquaculture Narrawong general manager Tim Rudge accepted the agribusiness award from Governor Linda Dessau at Government House in Melbourne on Monday night.
It is presented to a business that has demonstrated outstanding international success in the field of agricultural products, services or technology, and forestry, fisheries and fibre industries.
“The award win is the culmination of everyone’s efforts here at Narrawong over the past year and underlines the overall success we have had as a business,” Mr Rudge said.
“We’ve had a great year and the business is really well placed to expand and keep up with our demand and satisfy our customers’ needs.”
